Today’s mission: make an Advanced Query Loop block render absolutely nothing when the query comes back empty, instead of leaving a lonely heading and wrapper hanging around on the front end. Sounds simple. It was not. First Prettier’s format-on-save decided it was done with me, then I spent a good chunk of the stream in Xdebug digging through core’s query loop internals trying to get my hands on the WP_Query instance from render_block.
